Paul Davis enters his first season as the head women's basketball coach at Lincoln University (PA) in 2026-27, becoming the 11th head coach in program history.
Davis comes to Lincoln following a successful four-year tenure as the head coach at Bluefield State University, where he guided the Lady Big Blue through their transition into the CIAA while building a program known for its toughness, discipline, and player development.
Before his time at Bluefield State, Davis served on coaching staffs at Livingstone College, Queens University of Charlotte, and his alma mater, Winston-Salem State University. Throughout his coaching career, he has developed a reputation as a strong recruiter and mentor dedicated to student-athlete success on and off the court.
A native of Clio, South Carolina, Davis was a standout player at Winston-Salem State. A four-year starter and two-time team captain, he remains the school's all-time leader in blocked shots with 209. He earned CIAA Defensive Player of the Year honors, First Team All-CIAA recognition, and was named Winston-Salem State's Male Student-Athlete of the Year. Following his collegiate career, Davis spent six years playing professionally overseas before entering the coaching ranks.
Davis earned his bachelor's degree from Winston-Salem State University and a master's degree from Western Carolina University.
