Miles Green (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) highlighted a big day for the Lincoln University men's indoor track & field team as the Lions competed at the George Mason University Patriot Games on Saturday.

Miles Green (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) continues to have great competitive efforts as he won the men's 400 meters and both Andrea Fields and Assad Monroe qualified for the 60 Meter finals, while Andrea Carter put out another person best in the women's shot put in field events.”
Green sprinted his way to winning the 400 Meters in 50.27, beating out Howard's Michael Houston (49.81).
Tarem Cannonier (Whiteplains, N.Y./Woodlands HS) placed fourth in the event in 50.92, while
Abraham Noel (North Lauderdale, Fla./Fort Lauderdale HS) was eighth in 53.02. In the 60 Meters, Monroe took eighth in 7.07 and in the 200 Meters, he was fifth in 23.19.
Desmond Bowser (Washington, DC/Archbishop Carroll HS) placed 10
th in the event in 24.01 and
Kevin Morgan (Providence, R.I./Hope HS) finished 11
th in 24.04.
Kyle Edwards (Bloomfield, CT/Bloomfield HS) placed ninth in the 800 Meters in 2:01.00. In the 1,000 Meters,
Federico Ghelli (Rome, Italy/Liceo Mons. Tozzi) took 19
th in 2:54.73 and
Ronald Evans (Philadelphia, Pa./Cheltenham HS) finished in 22
nd in 3:13.59.
Wilson Bailey (Englewood, NJ/Dwight Morrow HS) competed in the 1-Mile Run and was 36
th in 4:59.41.
Green and Cannonier will be in action next weekend as they were invited to the New Balance Invitational in New York with hopes to hit the IC4A/ECAC standards.
