Osho picks up singles win in straight sets

Adedotun Osho used the momentum from a first-set tiebreak to propel him to victory.
WEST CHESTR, Pa. (April 4, 2011) — Senior tennis player Adedotun Osho (Plainfield, NJ/Plainfield) picked up a singles win against the highly regarded West Chester men's tennis team on Monday.

Osho pulled out a first-set tiebreak7-6 (4) and got the service break needed to defeat Steve Hlava 6-4 in the second set for the straight-set victory.

His victory highlighted Lincoln's 8-1 loss to the Golden Rams. In the second doubles, Osho and junior Michael Sangster (Belize, C.A/Sacred Heart College) nearly pulled off the No. 1 doubles team of Nate Geigle and David Goldenberg, 8-6, in the pro set.

Sangster was just as close in his No. 2 singles match, falling to Connor Dunn, 3-6, 5-7.
