They opened by defeating Virginia Union University, 661-636 and were led by Sarah Danaher (Waitsfield, Vt./Harwood Union HS)'s 157 and Tamia Davis (Pittsburgh, Pa./City Charter HS)' 151. Dion'Jalen Buie rolled a 145 to help in the successful effort.
Freshman Chantel Hamilton made her debut with the team and did not disappoint. Even though she bowled 93 and 96 with her two first games, she then turned it up and bowled games of 160, 206, and 156 respectively.
To finish the first day, Lincoln clipped Chowan University, 701-680. Once again leading the way was Davis 178 and Danaher 157. Buie also chipped in again with a 150.
